Discussion
On Monday, the EIA reported the monthly production for April 2025 hit an all-time high. This slightly misleading though because they corrected March’s production number from 13.488 MBD to 13.450 MBD. So April’s production number of 13.468 MBD is actually a reduction from previous data.
It’s still confusing that even with all the reported struggles that shale producers are experiencing, the monthly production figure continues to grow. Texas production growth is reported. This was not expected. US production is proving to be more resilient than anticipated, especially considering these prices and E&P guidance figures.

Hey Tim, hope all is well. Quick question. Are you still working with the EIA as you did in the past to try and get their formulations corrected? I remember you doing that back in 2021 or 2022.
